Need to get away from it all for a weekend, a week or even a fortnight? Want to enjoy the fresh sea air on the Charente-Maritime coast? Then look no further than La Perroche, a wild cove on the west coast of the Ile d’Oléron. This little corner of paradise nestled on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, in an authentic and picturesque setting, is the perfect destination for sea lovers. Just a stone’s throw from the campsite, with direct access, you can choose between a rocky beach for fishing on foot or with a rod & another beach ideal for swimming opposite the sailing school.
Beaches ideal for surfing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, kite surfing and sand yachting are just a stone’s throw away. Aquatic centers, cinemas, horse-riding centers, adventure courses… you name it, we’ve got it!
Cycling trails from La Perroche offer you the chance to visit the island in complete peace and quiet.

Les Flots-Atlantique seaside campsite – Villages 1 & 2 – is one of the few campsites on the west coast of the Ile d’Oléron with direct access to two beaches. No need to take the car or bike, just slip on your flip-flops, walk a few meters and find yourself facing theAtlantic Ocean in just a few minutes.
Les Flots-Atlantique campsite offers direct access to Baie de la Perroche and its two beaches separated by a dike:
- A beautiful bathing beach with its Wind Oléron Club sailing school (funboard, catamaran, dinghy, stand-up paddle, sand yacht…) and its mooring area with a jetty for launching boats.
- A rock-lined beach ideal for fishing at low tide (shrimps, periwinkles, curlers, barnacles…), netting or casting.
Our accommodation on the island of Oléron
We offer 5 ranges of mobile homes (ESSENTIEL, CONFORT, PREMIUM, COSY, PRESTIGE) equipped with one, two or three bedrooms and accommodating 2 to 6 people (with the possibility of an extra bed for 2 people in the living room), as well as wooden chalets with 2 bedrooms and a capacity of 5 people.
On the campsite, you’ll also find unusual accommodation: Coco Sweet and Bali Tents, comfortable 2-bedroom structures for an out-of-the-ordinary vacation!
Our campsite on the Ile d’Oléron comprises two areas with direct access to the Perroche beach: Village 1 + Résidence Village (138 pitches) and Village 2 (100 pitches), each with bare pitches for rent in Charente-Maritime for tents, caravans and motorhomes, as well as mobile-home rental plots on the Ile d’Oléron featuring mobile homes and more unusual accommodation such as Bali Tents and Coco Sweet.
And let’s not forget our half-board option, which, together with our wide range of accommodation and pitches, allows you to keep your vacation budget under control, thanks to excellent value for money.

Le Coutia bar-restaurant-grocery on the Ile d’Oléron (Restaurant), the campsite’s main meeting point and main source of entertainment, welcomes all campers in a relaxed, family atmosphere.
The flagship restaurant-grocery of the Oleron campsite offers a wide range of services: bread baked on the premises at any time, Viennese pastries, Licence IV bar, restaurant, takeaways, pizzas, groceries, fresh produce, regional products, confectionery, ice cream, regional press, postcards… And for meals on the go and aperitifs with family and friends, the snack bar is the place to be for convivial themed evenings!

Can we arrive any day of the week?
Yes, it’s possible in low season from April to June and in September and October, depending on availability. In high season, your stay must last at least 7 days, with a Saturday arrival.
Do you accept vacation vouchers?
Yes, we accept vacation vouchers to pay for your stay. If you wish to pay your deposit or balance by this method, simply send your ANCV vouchers by registered post. As soon as we receive your payment, we’ll send you confirmation by email.
Do you offer bike hire?
Yes, we have our own bike rental service for adults and children, as well as accessories (helmet, trailer, child seat). We advise you to make a reservation when purchasing your stay. Book your bikes online
Can I rent sheets and towels?
Bed linen and towel kits can be hired from reception with or without a reservation.
What are the arrival and departure times for rentals?
We make your rental available from 4pm. On the day of departure, the accommodation must be vacated by 10am at the latest. In the event of early arrival, please report to reception. If you expect to arrive after reception has closed, please contact us for details.
Very nice campsite in Dolus d’Oléron with friendly, helpful staff. It was very quiet at night. There is a small bar where you can also get something to eat and a small supermarket where you can buy essentials. You can reach La Cotinière in 10 minutes by bike. The mobile home was equipped with everything you need and was very clean.
Great stay at Camping Les Flots (van)! Spacious pitch under a canopy of trees just a few meters from the beach and ocean. Very friendly and accommodating staff, available when needed . New sanitary facilities. Very clean and well laid-out. Laundry facilities on site. I recommend for a peaceful stay, rocked by the tides, in a pleasant general atmosphere.
Great campsite, top team, direct access to the beach. The campsite is very quiet and there are superbly functional and modern sanitary facilities for campers! Lots of entertainment for young and old. A very good stay for me ☺️
