Les Flots-Atlantique campsite benefits from an exceptional location on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Almost with its feet in the water, it offers direct access to La Perroche Beach via a footpath. In less than 5 minutes, you can walk on the sand and enjoy a breathtaking panorama.
The Bay of La Perroche offers a unique setting in L'ile d'Oléron as it has 2 beaches. An area with sand and rocks ideal for fishing enthusiasts on foot and for explorers of the marine environment as well as a swimming beach, protected by a sea wall, ideal for family sea bathing. The waves are short and not very intense, ideal for young children and swimmers.
On both sides, sheltered from the wind, the sandy strip is ideal for laying your towel and sunbathing in peace, with a view of the coast line and the nearby beaches (La Rémigeasse, Vert Bois...).
The Wind Oléron Club sailing school, which has been operating in this spot for many years, offers a wide range of water sports for beginners and experienced sportsmen alike. Windsurfing, catamaran, kitesurfing, stand up paddle, sea kayaking, collective drifter, sailing float ... great activities are available to you just 5 minutes from the campsite.
So leave the car at the campsite, kick your flip flops and enjoy the sea with ease!
Good to know: 5 minutes is also the time it takes you every evening to get to the coast from your location and admire a beautiful sunset over the ocean. A magical moment, not to be missed under any circumstances during your stay!
